I watched it without seeing any spoilers or trailers and I adored it. 9 years ago I played the game for the first time in the same exact way. I played it without spoilers or seeing any playthroughs. I went in totally blind, just like I did with the movie. I fell head over heels for it. There was nothing yet--there were no toy animatronics, no Glamrocks, no Vanessa or William Afton just yet, no Springtrap; just the first game, a mystery that needed to be solved, and a small group of fans who liked the animatronics. I was being heavily abused at the time. My abuser had taken me out of public school many years prior under the guise of 'homeschooling' and had isolated me from the outside world. I fell through the cracks of the system and was forgotten. My abuser cut off both sides of my family, my friends from real life, and wouldn't let me outside.
